It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Patricia Ritzema (Fulton, Illinois), who passed away on August 26, 2020, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Derk Jan and Geertruida Hoiting Land; her husband Bert; her son Fred; her grandson James Klaver; her brother Gerben Land (Renske); and her siblings-in-law, Piet Hoeksma, Lolke Wijbenga, Tjitte Bruinsma and Johanna Land.
She is survived by: her siblings, Jan Land, Hilly Hoeksema, Luktje Wijbenga, Jannie Bruinsma and Willem Land (Anja); her children, Trudy Klaver (Ken) of Le Mars, IA, Dick (Lois) of Pease, MN, Jake (Priscilla) of Byron, IL, Bill (Anna) of St. Catharines, ON and Ed (Diane) of Posen, IL; and her daughter-in-law Rose Ritzema of Chattanooga, TN. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the James Albert Klaver Memorial Scholarship Fund, Dordt College, Sioux Center, IA, or to the Unity Christian School in Fulton.
