He was predeceased by: his parents, George Cady and Sue Cady (VanDyke); his wife Elizabeth Liddell; and his sisters, Marilyn Schroeder and Linda Richards.

He is survived by: his children, Kim Prisk (Walt) of Moline, IL and Vincent Cady of Fulton, IL; his grandchildren, Anthony Cady and Emmah Cady; and his sister Carol Ralston (Gary) of Fulton, IL..

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
