He was predeceased by: his father Wayne Rose; and his brothers-in-law, Richard Perkins and Myron VanBuskirk. He is survived by: his mother Gladys Rose (Medenblik) of Albany; his wife Lori Rose of Fulton; his children, John Rose (Kym) of Morrison, Jennifer Rose of Davenport, IA, Alex Rose (Katrina Litty) of Low Moore, IA and Ryan Rose of Fulton; and his sisters, Sandy Seward (Ed) of Clinton, IA, Sue Perkins of Fulton, Marlene VanBuskirk of Albany and Brenda Harris (Dwane) of Fulton. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
