She was predeceased by: her parents, Jay VanZuiden and Patricia VanZuiden (Hurley). She is survived by: her husband Terry Ottens; her children, Elizabeth Drevline (Mike) of Arlington Heights, IL, Emily Ottens of Scottsdale, AZ, Joseph Ottens of Fulton, IL and Thom Ottens (Jessica) of Davenport, IA; her grandchildren, Evan Dzik, Madison Dzik and Ella Ottens; and her siblings, Margaret Holt (Bruce) of Lexington, KY and Stephen VanZuiden of Pittsburgh, PA.. She is also survived by friends and family, raising her children.
Memorials have been established to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and Clinton Humane Society.
