He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry C. Tiesman and Etta Tiesman (Norman); his brother Loren Tiesman; and his nephew Darrell Tiesman. He is survived by: his spouses, Judith G. Ellis and Judy; his children, Lisa Stone (Pete) of Normal, IL and Matthew Tiesman of Hiawatha, IA; his grandchildren, Saylor of Cooper, Kinley, Winter, Dashiell and Oliver; and his brother Harlan Tiesman (Genevieve) of Fulton, IL..
