He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Houzenga and Hilda Houzenga (Eissens); his siblings, Donald Houzenga and Henrietta Houzenga; his grandson Randy Olsen; and his great grandchild Ethan Olsen.
He is survived by: his wife Marge of Fulton; his children, Sue Olsen (Darrell Gooch) of Fulton, Tom Houzenga (Tiffany) of Dahinda, Tim Houzenga (Laura) of Fulton and Kent Houzenga (Shannen) of Clinton, IA; and his siblings, Carol Barsema (Raymond) of Fulton, Lorraine Resel (Donald) of Clinton, IA and Richard Houzenga (June). He is also survived by 28 grandchildren; and 21 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
