He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Meurs and Alva Jean Meurs (Temple); and his mother-in-law June Newman. He is survived by: his wife Deb; his daughter Allison Meurs (Juan Lucas) of Arlington Heights, IL; his pet Gracie; his stepchildren, Erica Meunier (Shawn Ryan) of Clinton, IA and Nate Hege of Clinton, IA; his stepgrandchildren, Christopher, Brittney and Ivy; and his siblings, Sandra Gorzney (Walter) of Morrison, IL, Jimmie Meurs (Becky) of Davenport, IA and Scott Meurs (Dawn) of Morrison, IL. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at 305 11th Ave, Fulton, IL 61252.
