He was predeceased by: his parents, John Dyke and Margaret Dyke (Sikkema); and his sisters, Ilene Hardy and Alice Dever. He is survived by: his mother-in-law Marilyn J. Maring; his wife Marilyn; his son Jeff Dyke (Kathy) of Morrison, IL; his grandsons, Brian of Morrison, IL, Alex of Morrison, IL and Zachary Dyke of Morrison, IL; his siblings, Verna Vining of Iowa, Marge Nielsen of Iowa, Jean Smith of Arizona, Gail Thomson (John) of Texas, Carol Jenkin (Robert) of Texas and Donald Dyke of Wisconsin; and his brother-in-law Richard Hardy of Ohio.
