He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Bartell and Charlotte Bartell (Schultz); and his brother Kyle Bartell. He is survived by: his children, Allan Jay "AJ" Gagne (Brittany Kramer) of Dubuque, IA, Jason Pettera of Hanover, IL and Tiffany Dosio (Anthony) of Kieler, WI; his grandchildren, Riley, Kaiden and Carter; his brothers, Roger Bartell (Jenny) of Galena, Barney Bartell of Galena, Russell Bartell of Livingston, WI and Scott Bartell (Cindy) of Benton, WI; his sister-in-law Lisa Bartell; and his close friend Debra Gagne. He is also survived by nineteen nieces and nephews.
Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, a burial of his cremated remains next to his parents in Greenwood Cemetery, Galena will take place when it is safer to gather.
