Iola Joyce Snyder Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Iola Joyce Snyder (Fulton, Illinois), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 7, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clark Nelson and Stella Nelson (Barnhard); her husband William Snyder; her son Dayle Snyder; her daughter-in-law Ilene Snyder; and her sister Wanda Riggen.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Snyder of Taylor Ridge, Rick Snyder (Sylvia) of Fulton and Randy Snyder (Amelia) of Albany; her siblings, Neva Baar of Fenton, Virginia Scidmore (Tom) of Morrison, Esther Mohns of Morrison and Danny Nelson (Linda) of Fenton; and her sister-in-law Faye Jamieson of Kansas City, MO. She is also survived by five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the McDonald Funeral Home (1601 16th Ave, Fulton, IL 61252). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established to The Glaucoma Foundation.
