She was predeceased by: her parents, Claus G. Ottens and Mary V. Ottens (Vogel); her husband Wilfred J. "Barney" Sikkema; and her sister Mabel Jacobsen. She is survived by: her children, Mary Lynn Bogaard (Nolan) of Coralville, IA, Rebecca DeZeeuw (Larry) of Ashville, OH, Martha Harris (David) of Fulton, Rev. David Sikkema (Joyce) of Holland, MI, Daniel Sikkema (Susan) of Moline, IL and James Sikkema (Debra) of Broken Arrow, OK. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; four step grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; eleven step great grandchildren.
A memorial has been established to the Fulton/Thomson Food Pantry and RCA Global Missions.
