With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Gladys I. Rose of Fulton, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Medenblik and Martha Medenblik (DeVries); her husband Wayne Rose; her son Mark Rose; her sister Bernice Medenblik; her sons-in-law, Richard Perkins, Edward Seward and Myron VanBuskirk; and her brother-in-law Darrell Workman.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sue Perkins of Fulton, Sandra Seward of Clinton, IA, Marlene VanBuskirk of Albany and Brenda Harris (Dwane) of Fulton; and her sister Janice Workman of Morrison. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McDonald Funeral Home (1601 16th Ave, Fulton, IL 61252). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
A memorial has been established to the Albany United Methodist Church.
