He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Green and Anna Green (James). He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Green of Fulton; his children, Kelly Strossner of Elgin, Casey Green (Christina) of Camanche, IA, Chris Green (Kathy) of Fulton, Kari Gassman (Chris) of Crystal Lake, Kristopher Lowery (Monica) of Rochelle and Kevin Green (Jen) of Morrison; his brothers, Jim Green of Fulton and Dean Green of Morrison; his grandchildren, Marilee Strossner, Natalie Strossner, Noah Thompson, Jaeden Deardorff (Cayden), Preslee Green, Kirsten Green, Kiara Green, Lauren Gassman, Rachel Gassman and Bennett Gassman; and his pet Ally. He is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established to Heritage Canyon, Kingdom Life Community Church in Morrison, and Mercy One Hospice in Clinton.
