He was predeceased by: his parents, William Venhuizen and Gertrude Venhuizen (Borgman); his daughter Barbara; his stepgrandchildren, Brent Zaagman and Katelynn Zaagman; his former wife Nola M. Hoogheem; his wife Thelma P. Zaagman; his siblings, Grace Strating, Catherine Dykstra, Jeannette Balk, Harriet Norman, Fred Venhuizen and Jacob Venhuizen; and his stepdaughter Debra Vanderleest.
He is survived by: his daughter Nancy Kapusinski (Mark) of Fulton, IL; his grandchildren, Douglas Kapusinski (Rita), Andrea Cooper (Brandon) and Gregory Kapusinski (Kristin); his great grandchildren, Tommy, Oliver, Cora Kapusinski, Bryant Cooper, Cade and Lena Kapusinski; his stepgrandchildren, Toni Milnes (Chad), Shari Griffin (Paul), Keith Zaagman, Jason Zaagman (Amber), Kody, Kolton Zaagman, Bridget Maupin (Derrick), Mathew VanDerLeest (Amanda) and Nicholas VanDerLeest; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Claire, Elle, Evelia, Cole Milnes, Sydney, Luke Griffin, Riley, Charlotte, Tanner Maupin, Madison, Amilia and Maisy VanDerLeest; his stepsons, Gordon Zaagman (Paulette) of Morrison, IL, James Zaagman (Candace) of Prophetstown, IL and Bruce Zaagman (Lisa) of Lyndon, IL; and his stepson-in-law Roland VanDerLeest of Morrison, IL. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
