It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Eugene Stuart (Fulton, Illinois), born in Rockford, Illinois, who passed away on May 16, 2019, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mothers, Marian Stuart and Geneva Stuart (Meurs); his granddaughters, Courtney Marweg Stuart and Samantha Stuart; and his great grandchild Isabella Wright Echebarria.
He is survived by: his wife Charlene Cox Rehmert; his children, Brenda Stuart of Fulton, Theresa Wilhelm (Dave) of Clinton, IA, Dwayne Stuart (Katie) of Little Oklahoma, Lee Stuart (Deanna) of Fulton, Keith Stuart of Fulton and Glenn Stuart (Dawn) of Fulton; his stepsons, Larry Rehmert (Julie) of Sterling and Eric Rehmert (Angie) of Owensville, MO; his siblings, Marilyn Vegter (Harlan) of Morrison, Judy Holesinger (Richard) of Fulton, Nelta Roeder (David) of Morrison, Richard Stuart of Clinton, IA, Larry Stuart of Rock Falls and Joel Stuart (Nikki) of Rapids City; and his siblings-in-law, Marlene Glispie of Rock Falls, Eammon Cox (Becky) of Erie and Michael Ballard (Sharon) of Surprise, AZ. He is also survived by twenty four grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the Ronald McDonald House and the neurology department at the University of Iowa Medical Center.
