She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lauritzen and Mattie Lauritzen (Morhman); and her brothers, Jack Lauritzen, Robert Lauritzen and Donald Lauritzen.
She is survived by: her husband Vernon J. Dornbush; her children, Lisa Schaver of Fulton, IL and Robert J. Dornbush (Cindy Henning) of Muscatine, IA; her grandchildren, Kyle Schaver (Tiffany), Logan Schaver (Paige Portz), Brady Schaver (Erin Gerdes), Jason Dornbush, Justin Dornbush (Jennifer), Jacob Dornbush (Kelsie) and Gage Dornbush; and her sister-in-law Jean Lauritzen of Clinton, IA.. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established to the Albany Ambulance.
