He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilcoe Eide and Flora Vander Eide (Bonneur); and his siblings, Marian G. Newendyke, Jeanette Schaver, Clarence, Orin and Elmer Vander Eide.
He is survived by: his wife Wilma J. Feldt; his children, Carol DeWitte (Gary) of Morrison, IL, Arnold Vander Eide (Janet) of Garden Plain and John Vander Eide (Angela) of Garden Plain; and his grandchildren, Mark DeWitte (Holly), Melinda Subo (Michael), Kristi Christiansen (Eric), Michelle Dykstra (Eric), Lynell Breidenbach (Jon) and Jason Vander Eide (Ashley). He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
