He was predeceased by: his parents, LeRoy Cramer and Flora Cramer (Clausen); and his siblings, LeRoy, Donald and Alice.
He is survived by: his former wife Vera Pithan; his wife Janice Cramer (Knauer) of Fulton, IL; his children, Brenda Ehlers (Wesley) of Bryant, IA, James Cramer (Deb) of Clinton, Mark Cramer (Ami) of Clinton, Betsy Claussen of Clinton, Todd Cramer of Clinton and Amy Ralston of Clinton; and his brothers, Dick Cramer (Jill) of Elbert, CO and Gordon Cramer (Pat) of Clinton. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
