Bernard Houzenga Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bernard Houzenga in Fulton, Illinois, who passed away on April 4, 2021 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Burt Houzenga and Anna Houzenga (Buikema); his wife Frances Jean VanderVinne; his daughter Rhonda Houzenga; his siblings, Darlene Ashby and Clifford Houzenga; and his siblings-in-law, Sylvia Houzenga, Ervin Stuart, Fay Ashby, George Kyarsgaard and Robert Williams.

He is survived by: his children, Deb Swanson (Bill) of Morrison, IL, Sheila Richmond (Mark) of Tampico, IL and Dewey Houzenga (Melissa) of Morrison; and his siblings, Delores Stuart of Morrison, Bernice Kyarsgaard of Camanche, IA, Ardella Houzenga of Savanna, IL, Jean Williams of Thomson, IL and LaVerne Houzenga of Clinton, IA.. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
