We are sad to announce that on October 15, 2024 we had to say goodbye to William Janssen of Freeport, Illinois, born in Shannon, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marian Janssen and William Janssen; his wife Patricia Janssen (Wolfram); his in-laws, Margaret and Frances Wolfram; his siblings, Carol Janssen, Phyllis Brown and Michael Janssen; his nephew Philip Brown; and his niece Peggy Forrer.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sarah Janssen (Sean Avent) of San Francisco, CA, Melinda Benninger (Matthew) of Marquette, MI and Gretchen Yeoman (Jeremy) of Freeport; his grandchildren, Caleb, Nate Benninger, Natalie, Kyle Yeoman and Zoe Avent; his close friend Elaine Bicking of Freeport; and his sisters-in-law, Marion Hubner (Wolfram) and Joann Janssen.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Burke Tubbs Funeral Home - Freeport (504 N Walnut Ave, Freeport, IL 61032). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
A memorial has been established in Bill's memory.
