It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William J. Best of Freeport, Illinois, who passed away on July 6, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Best and Bernadine Best (Foehrkolb); his brother Robert "Bob" Best; his cousin Danny Grossenbacher; his aunt Marcella Ebel; and his pet Sydney.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Best; his children, Brian Best (Sandy), Erin Peterson (Joe) and Teri Best; his granddaughter Lyra; his sister Deb Krogull (Doug); and his pet Magic. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
