He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Hayunga and Ethel Hayunga (Mennega); and his granddaughter Bridgett Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Bornemeier of Freeport, IL; his sons, Terry Hayunga (Tina) of Winona, MN, Tom Hayunga (Joey) of Baileyville, IL and Tim Hayunga (Gina) of Roscoe, IL; and his siblings, LeRoy Hayunga of Freeport, IL, Philip Hayunga (Susie) of Surprise, AZ and Phyllis Dirkson of Tucson, AZ. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established in Virgil's memory.
