She was predeceased by: her parents, John Adams and Mary Adams (Slaght); her husband Gary G. Kerchner; her sister Deb Goebel; and her grandson Michael Pals.
She is survived by: her children, Gary L. Kerchner (Susan) of Freeport, Alejandro "Alex" Kerchner of Freeport and Jody Patterson of Arizona; her brother David Adams (Nancy) of Iowa; her nieces, Amber Goebel of Freeport and Iris Thill of Florida; her nephew Oether Adams; and her grandchildren, Nicholas Love, Staci Bianchetta, JoDean Kerchner, Samantha Sloan, Tony Pals, Niles Aronson and Ryan Ames. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
A memorial has been established in her name for St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
