She is survived by: her children, Mary Place (Richard) of Freeport, IL, Margaret Cliff (Kevin) of Wheaton, IL, Michael Schuck (Lana) of Freeport, IL, Betty Schmelzle (Stephen) of Freeport, IL and Judy Schopf (Dave) of Freeport, IL; and her grandchildren, Lesley Benecke (Matt) of Freeport, IL, Jamie Crackenberger (Ryan) of Pecatonica, IL, Renee (Christopher), Stephany Standley (Ryan) of Wakefield, MA, Emily Valkema (Kristopher) of Freeport, IL, Erik Schmelze of Freeport, IL, Nicholas Schmelzle (Kirsten) of Indianapolis, IN, Jennifer Lau (Alex) of Montgomery, IL and Andrea Lucas (Brian) of Wheaton, IL. She is also survived by 12 Great grandchildren, and 2 Great Great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established for St. Joseph Church.
