Sharone Zielke Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sharone Zielke of Freeport, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 20, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Phillip LaBlanc and Helen LaBlanc (Etten); her husband E. Ronald Zielke (Jake); her siblings-in-law, Betty and Joseph Purpero; her sister Maureen; her brother-in-law Giles Fisch; her brother Robert; her sister-in-law Grace LaBlanc; and her niece Melissa Zielke.
She is survived by: her children, Kelly Schleich (Joe) of Freeport, IL, Holly Zielke (Tami) of Elgin, IL, Heidi Eaton (Paul) of Hampshire, IL, E. Guy Zielke (Dawn) of Freeport, IL and E. Phillip Zielke of Plover, WI; her grandchildren, Samantha Rivers (Maya), Alex Schleich, Nick, Noah, Simon Zielke, Kylie Smith (Ryan), Austin (Alexa), Weston Eaton (Reilly), Jake Zielke and Abbygail Quinter (Ethan); her great grandchildren, Jayce, Jovie, Taylor, Elena, Kora Quinn and Carmen; and her pet Sophie. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 16th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church (1400 Kiwanis Dr, Freeport, IL 61032). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 16th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
