She was predeceased by: her parents, Karl Schoonhoven and Carolyn Schoonhoven (Virtue). She is survived by: her husband Gary L. Dotson of Freeport; her children, Dan Dotson (Nancy) of Muskego, Jim Dotson (Jeannie) of Boothbay Harbor, Maine and Sarah Ritter (Dennis) of Freeport; her grandchildren, Heather, Jennifer, Josiah, Bethany and Mischa; and her uncle James Virtue (Marilyn) of Crown Pointe, Indiana.

In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established for Park Hills Evangelical Free Church in Sandra's memory.
