With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ronald Edward Mashaw (Freeport, Illinois), born in Syracuse, New York, who passed away on March 30, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Mashaw and Marion Phelps (Schreyer); his siblings, Robert Mashaw, Phillip Mashaw and Phyllis Carr (Jean Mashaw); and his sons, Gary Mashaw and Michael Mashaw (Stephanie).
He is survived by: his spouse Jean Elaine (Stichter); his children, Ron Mashaw (Sandy), Tina Rubin (Jerry) and Mark Mashaw (Danyel); his grandchildren, Nikki, Heather, Grace, Michael, Amber, Merrilee, Katlyn, Becca, Brittany, Mark and Chelsey; and his sisters, Julie Phelps, Sue Palmer and Laura Meyers.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Paul Church of Epleyanna (8800 E Eppleyanna Rd, Davis, IL 61019). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
A memorial has been established in lieu of flowers.
