He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Dyson and Leona Steele (Stichter); his wife Jackie Dyson; his siblings, Roy Dyson Sr., David Dyson and Marie Steele; and his son-in-law Paul Lamm.
He is survived by: his siblings, Norman Dyson, Theressa Eastman and Nina Garnhart; his children, Luke Dyson (Misty Marlenee) of Sterling, KS, Michael Dyson (Emily) of Rockford, IL and Melissa Lamm (Tim Yoder) of Lanark, IL; and his grandchildren, Alex Dyson, Isaac Dyson, Aaron Dyson, Elizabeth Dyson, Benjamin Dyson, Joseph Dyson, Malachi Lamm, Silas Lamm, Ezekiel Lamm and Abram Lamm.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Park Hills Evangelical Free Church (2525 W Stephenson St, Freeport, IL 61032). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
