He was predeceased by: his parents, William Arthur Conkling Jr. and Velma Kathryn Bessert (Walton-Conkling). He is survived by: his sons, Mark W. Conkling and Brian A. Conkling; and his siblings, William Conkling III (Mary), Paula McNally (Marty), Corynne Gille (Kirk) and Ann Holub (Jason). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
