He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Grinnell and Darlene Grinnell (Pagel); his siblings, Cheri and Paul; and his grandparents, Albert, Cora Grinnell, Ruben and Peggy Pagel.

He is survived by: his son Jeremy Hardin of Arkansas; his brothers, Steve and Daren; his grandchildren, Kane and Rachel Hardin; and his great grandchildren, Alexander and Braxton.

A memorial has been established in his memory.
