It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Lee Lowary of Freeport, Illinois, born in Champaign, Illinois, who passed away on December 8, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Lowary and Wilma Jean Lowary (Wilborn); his father-in-law Don Diffenbaugh; his brothers, Dennis and Thomas; and his grandson Matthew Michael Lowary.
He is survived by: his pet Lucy; his wife Sharon Coppernoll (Diffenbaugh); his children, Jeff Lowary (Kelly) of Rockford, IL and Julie Bronke (Dave) of Bloomington, IL; his stepdaughters, Courtney Vukasinovic (Darius) of Australia and Keegan Coppernoll of Freeport, IL; his brothers, Charlie (Susan) of Champaign, IL, Glenn of Champaign, IL and Johnny of Champaign, IL; his grandchildren, Meadow, Maylyn Bronke, Bennett, Elizabeth and Macy Lowary; and also Ann Diffenbaugh of Freeport, IL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
