He is survived by: his father Clifford Shore of Rock Island; his children, Katie Enright (Chad) of Freeport and Kris Shore (Ashly) of Rock City; his granddaughters, Raelynn Yaeger, Merida Shore and Madalynn Enright; his siblings, Jayne Boore (Steve) of Davenport, IL, Karen Lawless of Andalusia, IL, Brian Shore (Kathy) of Geneseo, IL and Steve Shore (Leigh) of North Bend, OR.; his aunt Mary Moon of Yuma; and his uncle David Collier (Nadine) of Notre Dame, IN..
Michael was very involved in his community serving as the Director of the Retired Senior Volunteer program RSVP at Highland Community College for 30 years.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in his name.
