Michael E. O'Brien Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael E. O'Brien of Freeport, Illinois, born in Mendota, Illinois, who passed away on May 15, 2022 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John O'Brien and Joan O'Brien (O'Malley); and his sister Rose O'Brien. He is survived by: his wife Angie of Freeport, IL; his children, Megan of Chicago, IL and Michael J. of Rockford, IL; his siblings, John O'Brien (Renee), Patrick O'Brien (Susan), Larry O'Brien (Renae) and Jean O'Brien; his brother-in-law Randy Fox (Kathy); and his parents-in-law, Mark and Judy Schanfeldt. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, 13 extra special great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Mike's memory.
