She was predeceased by: her parents, Delbert Carpenter (D.) and Evelyn Carpenter (Colyar); her husband Robert A. Boyer; and her siblings, Florence Bonjour, Clarice Distler and Vern O. Carpenter.
She is survived by: her sons, Wendell Boyer (Linda) of Janesville and Kevin Boyer (Linda) of Winslow, Illinois; and her granddaughter Nancy Pfile (Randy) of Decorah, Iowa.. She is also survived by five grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.
Memorials in Mary's name may be made to Hawthorne Inn or FHN Hospice in Freeport.
