He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Amos Petit and Amy Petit; his close friend Roy; his sisters, Barb Moran (Mike) of Dubuque and Debbie Monigold (Steve) of Freeport; his nieces and nephews, Jeremy Monigold (Debi) of Cedarville, Joel Moran (Kate) of Dubuque, Jason Moran (Alyssa) of Dubuque, Jill Lei (Matt) of Freeport, Jessica Adkins (Luke) of Rockford and April Caldwell (Christopher) of Monroe; his grandparents, George, Virginia Petit, Lynn and Ione Barker; his brothers, Lynn Petit and Tim Petit; and his nephew Joey Petit.
