She was predeceased by: her husband LeRoy Schroeder; and her siblings, Bernice Dikkers and Roland Keppen. She is survived by: her daughters, Elizabeth Keppen (Leege) and Linda Schmidt of Freeport; her niece Patricia Leners (Matt) of Round Lake, Illinois; her sister-in-law Nancy Byron of California; her grandchildren, Jeff Schmidt, Cheli Peotter (Mike), Joe Schmidt (Ruth) and Doug Schmidt; her great grandchildren, Jarin, Cody, Andrew, Tyler, Jacob Schmidt, Jaden, Harley Schmidt, Dylan and Lexi Peotter; and her grandchildren, Nathan, Amanda and Brooklyn. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established for Leonard C. Ferguson Cancer Center.
