She was predeceased by: her father Eldon Kortemeier; her parents-in-law, Lester and Audrey Werntz; her nephew Liam Kortemeier; and her pet Lexi.

She is survived by: her mother Caryl Kortemeier; her family Linda; her husband Don Werntz; her sons, Ryan Werntz (Kylie) and Adam Werntz (Sarah Baier); her granddaughter Charlotte Linda Werntz; her aunt Janet Lubbers; and her brothers, Gary and David Kortemeier. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Although Linda adored floral arrangements, a memorial fund has been established in her name.
