With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Linda Marie Goley of Freeport, Illinois, who passed away on April 17, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Weiss and Elvy Weiss; her husband John Goley; her brother Gary Weiss; her brother-in-law John Hill; her stepson John M Goley; and her stepgrandson Andrew Goley.
She is survived by: her children, Chris Goley and Sarah Meador (Ryan); her stepchildren, Carol Goley, Jim Goley and Donald Goley; her grandchildren, Kendrick, Aubrey and Colton Meador; her stepgrandchildren, Meghan Clark (Slick), Tim Wittenauer, Ann Goley-Zies (Cameron), John Goley Jr. and April (Goley); her siblings, Pat Bowdish (Steve), LaVonne Anderson (Andy), Bill Weiss (Connie), Dorothy Hill and Terry Weiss (Sheila); and her sister-in-law Rhonda Weiss. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, dear friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A Mass was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Calendar St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church (1400 Kiwanis Dr, Freeport, IL 61032).
