Linda M. Ditsworth Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Linda M. Ditsworth of Freeport, Illinois, who passed away on May 31, 2022 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivan Johnson and Esther Maize; her daughter Kathy Rinehart; her stepson Donald Ditsworth; and her brothers, Donald Johnson and Elmer Johnson.
She is survived by: her husband Jim Ditsworth of Freeport, IL; her daughter Amy Frazier of Roscoe, IL; her stepdaughters, Susie Dvorak (Andy) of Freeport, IL and Pam Ditsworth of Freeport, IL; her sister Betty Metz of Freeport, IL; her grandchildren, Tim Krieger (Laura) of Freeport, IL, Matt Krieger of Eau Claire, WI, Hailey Frazier (Cory) of Roscoe, IL, Maiah Frazier of Roscoe, IL, Jacob Pizzolato of Freeport, IL and Jordan Pizzolato of Freeport, IL; and her stepgrandchildren, RJ Ferguson (Rachel) of Lanark, IL, Stephanie Reese (Kyle) of Warren, IL and Willie Wagner of Freeport, IL. She is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren and 8 step-great-grandchildren.
Linda was a volunteer at FHN Hospital and also was affiliated with the Freeport Fair as a Superintendent and Highland Community College as an RSVP volunteer.
A memorial has been established in Linda's memory.
