She was predeceased by: her father Robert E. Weier; her husband Robert Downing Sr.; and her siblings, Durwood Weier, Hazen Woody Weier, Bob Weier and Alice Weier.
She is survived by: her mother Bertha Weier (Krueger); her children, Robert Downing Jr. (Lori) of Topeka, KS and Sarah Hutmacher (Dan) of Freeport; her grandchildren, Hannah Downing of Stockton and Allie Downing of Topeka, KS; her great grandchild Angus White of Stockton, IL; her daughter Dr. Saskia Albers of Bochum, Germany; her brother David Weier of Iowa; and her pet Meeka. She is also survived by her family, especially her role as a mother and grandmother.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Linda's memory.
