She was predeceased by: her parents, Fern Bucher (Strohecker) and Charles Bucher; her husband Loyal Portner; her son John; her brother Dale; and her niece Linda.
She is survived by: her children, Georgia (David), Mary (Peter), Katherine (Keith) and Tom (Sue); her daughter-in-law Jean; her grandchildren, Anthony, Liz, Christopher, Diana, Piper, Samara, Jesse, Kelsey and Dale; her great grandchildren, Owen, Evan, Wesley, Lily, Landon, Tiffani and Maggie; her nieces, Lilas and Sandy; and her nephew Robert.
