It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lavonne Welling of Freeport, Illinois, who passed away on September 21, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Marie Lohmeier (Henze) and Art Lohmeier. She is survived by: her husband Ron Welling (Ronald); her children, Kent Welling (Sandra) and Lori Dieken (Mike); her grandchildren, Jessica Ellefson (Bret), Jon Dieken and Bryan Dieken; and also Makenzie Ellefson.

A memorial fund has been established in Lavonne's name.
