He was predeceased by: his grandparents, August, Frances Winter, Lula Mae Biggin Queckboerner, Jesse Queckboerner and Virgil Adrian; and his brother-in-law Steve Mooney.
He is survived by: his parents, Henry Winter (Corky) and Virginia M. Winter (Adrian); his children, Adam Winter and Andrea Winter (Pradeep Wijekoon); his granddaughter Koa Wijekoon-Winter; his siblings, Adrienne Mooney, Lauri Winter (Shawn Vlad) and Eric Winter (Arlene); and his close friend Paula Vanden Heuvel. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
