With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen A. Haas of Freeport, Illinois, born in Cuba City, Wisconsin, who passed away on August 1, 2023 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Gerald Schardt; her son Jeremy; and her nephew Malachi. She is survived by: her mother Donna Schardt (Hammer) of Freeport; her pet Jake; her sons, Josh of Freeport and Jessie Haas of Freeport; her brothers, David Schardt (Laura) of Cherry Valley, IL, Ken Schardt (Dana) of Oregon, WI and Mark Schardt (Wendy) of Freeport; and her stepdaughter Lisa Jones. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
