With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joyce Pruitt of Freeport, Illinois, who passed away on May 30, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eli Lenoir and Romania Lenoir (Dallas); her spouse Lenon Pruitt; her sons, Tommy L. Johnson Jr., Alvin L. Johnson-Crawford and Arnold R. Johnson-Givens; her siblings, Kenneth Lenoir, Clinton Lenoir, Cynthia Carter and Doris Adams; and her close friend Orlando Lowery.
She is survived by: her children, Ricky Pruitt (Lynn) of Freeport and Annette Bluett of Rockford, IL; her sister Eva Craig of Freeport; and her sister-in-law Carolyn Lenoir.
A memorial has been established in Joyce's memory.
