He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed and Martha; his son Mike; his brothers, Edward Jr. and Larry; his sisters-in-law, Neta Jenkins (Hille) and Wynne Ralston; his nephew Scott Jenkins; and also, Elmer and Mary Raih.
He is survived by: his wife Lynda Jenkins (Raih); his children, Jaime Houghton (Dale), Bret, Craig and Ryan Jenkins; his grandchildren, Krystle Hill, Jace Jenkins, Brooke Jenkins, Ashtyn Jenkins, James Houghton and Grace Houghton; his great grandchild Connor Hill; his nieces, Jodie Bollman (Ken) and De Jenkins; and also Sue Gorman (Mike).
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Calendar St. Joseph Church (229 W Washington Pl, Freeport, IL 61032). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (229 W Washington Pl, Freeport, IL 61032).
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established for: Freeport Catholic Schools.
