He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Weik and Lila Weik (Oftedahl); his stepfather Leslie; his parents-in-law, Duane and Patricia Smith; his son-in-law Colby Smith; and his brother Lawrence Weik.
He is survived by: his wife Roxi of Freeport, IL; his children, Tyler Weik of Freeport, IL, Matt Weik (Amanda) of Freeport, IL and Jennifer Smith-Norman (Pete) of Freeport, IL; his brother Robert Weik of Belvidere, IL; and his grandchildren, Colby Smith (Sydney), Sedona Smith, Chloe Smith, Kamryn Bradbury, Kalli Bradbury and Aiden Weik.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in Jim's memory.
