In the sacred silence of farewell, James Carl is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that James Carl's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Bade and Esther Bade; his wife Bonnie Bade; his siblings, Joyce Johnson and Art Bade; and his grandson-in-law Max Hazen.
He is survived by: his daughters, Wendy Gilpin (Hal), Lisa Goodwin (Patrick) and Sue Myers (Steve); and his sister-in-law Barbara Bade. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that because of Jim's deep interest in history of all kinds that a memorial in his name be made to the Cedarville Area Historical Society at 1212 South Stewart Ave, Freeport.
