It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen B. Fischer (Freeport, Illinois), who passed away on March 8, 2019, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Geiger and Alma Geiger (Jackson); her son Robert; and her siblings, Mary and Robert.

She is survived by: her husband LeRoy Fischer of Freeport; her children, Karen Poaha (Buddy) of Freeport, Debbie Jenner (Tom) of Rockford, IL and Todd Fischer (Grace); her grandchildren, Tasha, Amber, Haley, Jordan, Ashlee, Chris, Amanda, Scott, Ryan, Jon and Brandon; her sisters-in-law, Doris Kness (Keith) and Phyllis Geiger; and her daughter-in-law Pam Smith. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and extended family.
