She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Enzinger and Paula Enzinger (Gruber); her husband Victor Aebly of Freeport; her children, Stephen Aebly (Terrina) of Mt. Carroll, Richard Aebly (Kym) of Madison, William (Lisa) of Winslow and Valerie Burington (John) of Orangeville; her brothers, Edward Enzinger (Ruth) of Dakota and John Enzinger; and her grandson Nicholas Aebly. She was also cherished by 15 grandchildren.
A memorial has been established for Park Hills Evangelical Free Church in Hattie's memory.
